The Escalator on 25th Avenue was rebuilt to help with automated debris removal from Lateral 2. It has been updated with a more modern drive system and flexible stainless steel conveyor. A small portion of Lateral 2 directly in front of the Escalator was reconstructed to route the water into the face of the Escalator instead of allowing a portion of it to bypass.
