New Checks on the Main Canal

The purpose of constructing checks is to better control the water level in the Main Canal as part of the overall water management program. The temporary check that was installed downstream of the Riek Pump Station will be removed and replaced with a permanent one. In addition, a new permanent check will be constructed approximately 1/4 mile downstream from Oak and Bowles.
