Major Silt Berm Removal

Large silt berms in the Main Canal and Lateral 2 are causing problems as they create areas for heavy weed growth that can restrict water flow through the canal system. During the off-season District employees have been removing silt from the Main Canal between the Blue Bridge and I-182, and from Lateral 2 between Haney Road and Finley Road.
